OMG, I started my own business!!! *Eyes Popped Open* But, not just any business an ON-LINE BUSINESS. *Laughs* Yeah, after many years of listening to all the hype of people getting rich on the Internet, I decided that it was time to spread my wings and give it a try. <Okay, It Wasn’t Really The “Hype” That Made Me Try My Luck On-line, I Didn’t Have Any Other Options Left! *Shrugs Shoulders*> And I didn’t intentionally start off without doing some research first. *Shakes Head* But, I have to admit that I did get caught up in the hype after taking an e-commerce, I joined what was listed as the number one “Work from Home Program” immediately, without even checking out any of the other programs. Was that a big mistake! *Bangs Head On Wall*
It turned out to be extremely expensive, but a very good learning experience. *Giggles Uncontrollably* After 2 months with this company I was on every “Work From Home Program” or “Affiliate Program” list available. *Nods Head* This company offered a lot of “Free Bonuses” to help you to succeed. Well, these “Free Bonus” offers weren’t exactly free for me. *Stomps Foot* Being a “Newbie” I didn’t know what a “Squeeze Page” was or a “Landing Page” so whenever I took up one of these “Free Bonuses” I ended up on a “Squeeze Page” or “Landing Page”. *Rolls Eyes* I happily entered my name and email address on these pages, but never my credit card number. *Shakes Head* But, I gather since I was re-directed from a program I was already involved in, they had access to my credit card anyway!!! *Yells* YOU do NOT have permission to give my credit card number to anyone YOU want!!! *Censored*
I thought it was great, all these 30 day trial offers – what better way to know what’s going to work for you and what isn’t? *Smiles* That was until I tried to unsubscribe. *Frowns* For some unknown reason it appears my credit card number was a member of all these trial offers, but I wasn’t. *Stunned* To make matters worse, I started with one email address and switched to a different one. <Yup, I Love To Make Things More Difficult For Myself!!! *Smirks* I Live To Overcome!!! *Laughs At Self*> I was getting the same offers to both email accounts at different times, on different days, & from different people. *Dazed Expression* I was so confused what program I had signed up for I ended up signing up for the same programs numerous times. *Sniggers* Um actually, I should say my credit card *Locks Credit Card In Vault* & email addresses ended up signing up innumerable times, apparently I didn’t exist as a person. *Sticks Fist In Mouth*
After 6 days of emailing all these companies we finally got things straightened out. *Does Happy Dance* Although, from one list I can’t unsubscribe – it’s not costing me anything, my accounts been cancelled, but I’m still on their mailing list. *Snickers* I keep trying to unsubscribe, but I can’t – because I’M NOT A MEMBER!!! *Shakes Head* Apparently, you have to “Submit A Ticket” to unsubscribe, but in order to “Submit A Ticket”; you have to be a MEMBER. *Bewildered Look On Face*
Thankfully, they were able to find my account and cancel my membership, but somehow they just don’t want to seem to want to lose me. <*Whispers* They Love ME!!! *Giggles*> I’ve sent them numerous emails, to no avail. I never take them up on any of their offers, but they still email me. *Nods Head* Not once a week, or once a day, they really love ME, they email me two or three times a day. <Hmm, If They Love Me So Much & Want Me To Be In Their Program – They Should Send Me Lots Of Money So I Could Afford To Join!!! *Nods Head*> I guess I just have to accept the fact that I’m irresistible and learn to live with it! <Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall…*Bursts Out Laughing*>
